Rogue has come around in the "This Week" character selection. I have just drawn this character two times already, in the space of a few weeks. Anyway by way of poking a little fun at my "Roadkill" self, here you go:

[News] Where's all the artwork?

"Sorry" for the few days with no artwork going up. I've been busy on a few commissions and some personal "life" stuff. As things stand just now, my next "scheduled" bit of "fun" art will be the hole I leave in my schedule for the "This Week" character selection.
That's not chosen until Sunday [tomorrow] and I've then got to draw it. So we'll see what next week brings huh?

[News] Back from Hospital.

Just got back. I was in over night with my [middle] daughter. She was scheduled in for a "Sleep Study". I was up most of the night in the room beside her.

I'll maybe get something done later today. We'll see how I feel.

Working on a commission today. This one is a creator owned character. I've been left to add my own touches and elements. I normally like to be left to my own devices, so when Someone says "Draw me a Wonder Woman" I get on with it draw them as good a Wonder Woman as I can muster. But in the case of characters that haven't yet been designed, I feel that the client knows what they are looking for but the artist needs to try and tease out those preferences from them-LOL.
In this case, although I have been allowed a certain degree of dispensation there are lots of great [individual] references in the clients gallery for these characters. You can have a look at the amazing artwork he has on display HERE

The character I'm working on today is Adi.

[News] At Last!

Okay some News.

I woke up at 4.45am a few days ago, to find that "someone" had spammed/phished my email account once again! In and of itself no biggee but they had managed to ditch all my prefs and drop 3 gigs of info off my harddrive to boot!

This really was the last straw. After months of getting moderators to put my posts on moderation, then take me off then put me back on again, I really have been stretched to breaking point.

As such I took the step to back away from Yahoo Groups and -all- Mail based groups for the time being.

So you will only really find new updates HERE, or at my http://comicartcommunity.com/gallery/categories.php?cat_id=337. I will still be maintaining my renewed commitment to both Catthouse and Picture This! And keeping up with the This Week Weekly "Jam" here: http://www.thirdraildesignlab.com/forum/index.php
