This picture was done for a Forum, the link to which is over beside the other links on my Blog.
The Forum, "This Week" is just a place where some artists gather and may, or may not participate in a weekly "jam". A random character is chosen and you can participate with a sketch or a full finished paining, if you so wished.
The new character is chosen on a Sunday and all submissions need to be in for the following Sunday.
I was running way behind trying to fit this piece into my schedule so I only coloured the flats on her costume and invested an hour on her skin-LOL.
So I'll use "Time" as an excuse but there may have been the tiniest element of laziness...the tiniest element you understand;-)

Just one question, is there a particular artistic reason you chose not color Cate's hair?
